When Do You Need Area Conversion?
Different contexts favor different area units. Housing listings often use “ping” (坪), farmland is often measured in “are” or “hectare”, and sometimes in “fen” (分) or “jia” (甲) — traditional land units still used in Taiwan. These units make calculation and communication convenient within their own context, but you’ll still need a way to convert between them.
